Design has a profound impact on our lives, it has the power to improve our quality of life, increase the functionality of a space, promote better health both mentally and physically, increase productivity and captivate our senses. Whether it’s our homes, work places, restaurants, retail stores or countless other places, we are able to transform these spaces to create different feelings and moods while increasing the aesthetics and functionality. This struck a chord within me and drove me to pursue an education and career in Interior Design.
Ariale Interior Design is a new firm in Victoria; however I have been in the field for over 20 years, specializing in residential and commercial design bringing a wealth of knowledge to every project. I have a diploma in Interior Design from Ontario College of Arts & Design and I’m a Registered Interior Designer (RID) with both IDIBC and ARIDO.
The ability to create a space that is functional, thoughtful and aesthetically pleasing is something I’m passionate about. I’m a good listener, meticulous and detail oriented. Which helps me create the perfect balance in every project between the client’s needs and desires with functionality, code requirements and aesthetics. I’m also greatly inspired by nature and strive to incorporate the practices of biophilic design in most of my projects to enhance well-being and improve the quality of indoor spaces.
Nature being a big part of my life is where you can find me in my free time either hiking, biking, paddle boarding or just relaxing at the beach.
