Craigflower Main level
This beautiful townhouse had a main level that felt very cluttered with a fully enclosed kitchen wedged in between the living room and dining room. The owners wanted to bring in more light to the dining room as well as create a larger, more open and functional kitchen for casual entertaining. We redesigned the ground floor by removing the kitchen walls entirely and relocating the powder room to allow for a larger dining room. This created a fully open main level visually connecting the dining room to the south facing living room and bringing plenty of light throughout that floor. The new kitchen provided plenty of opportunity for people to gather around and include the chef in all the merriment.

Estevan Kitchen
Located in Oak Bay, this cozy house had a small dated, boxed-in kitchen which lacked function, storage and views to the lovely back yard. The kitchen redesign gave the clients a lovely modern open space over looking the dining area out to the back yard. The full height uppers increased storage as well as the built in media cabinet/ hutch in the dining room.

Donair Restaurant
The desire to create an east meets west, environmentally and neighborhood friendly restaurant fostering a sense of community, established a strong direction for this restaurant. To bring this vision to reality we provided a full encompassing design: Incorporating elements of biophilic design by specifying natural materials and wall plants: Installing whimsical edison light bulbs mounted at different heights over the seating area harkening to outdoor mediterranean patios: Juxtaposing the quintessential Victorian red brick wall with the soft mediterranean white wall. All put together harmoniously to create a cozy, warm and welcoming space.
